Our Statement of Faith

Northland Christian School is a ministry of Northland Baptist Church which is a fundamental, independent Baptist church.

God

There is one God existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. - Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:26; 11:7

Man

Man was created by God, without sin. the first man, Adam, willfully disobeyed the command of God and brought death upon the human race. Man is a sinner by birth and by choice. - Genesis 1:26, 27; 3:6, 7

HELL

Hell is a lake of fire prepared by God for the devil and his angels plus all who die without Jesus Christ as their Savior. - Daniel 12:3; Matthew 25:41-46; Romans 3:10, 23; 6:23

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ was God, come in the flesh, born of a virgin, and crucified on the cross for all men, buried and risen again the third day. – John 1:1; Luke 1:35; I Peter 2:22-24; 1 Corinthians 15:1-58

SALVATION

Salvation is the free gift of God, provided through Jesus Christ. Only through Christ can an individual be saved. – John 1:12; 3:14-19, 36; Romans 3:24-28; Ephesians 2:8, 9 

ETERNAL SECURITY

Eternal Security is promised to those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ. They are kept by God and can never be lost. – John 10:27-28; Ephesians 1:13, 14; 1 John 5:11-13 

HEAVEN

Heaven is a place prepared only for those who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior. It is a literal place for all the redeemed. – John 14:1-6;
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:1-16

THE GREAT COMMISSION

It is the duty of each Christian to live a holy life and to make soul winning the main end of all Christian work. God’s Great Commission never changes, as the principle obligation of churches and Christians, and this includes mass evangelism as well as personal soul winning through other means and agencies.
